  • It does.

Last week, Senator Joann Ginal, a Fort Collins Democrat, proposed an amendment on the Senate floor permitting the use of rent-setting algorithms, provided that the data utilized was publicly available. This version of the bill subsequently passed in the Senate.

Speaking to The Denver Post on Tuesday, Ginal defended the amendment, asserting that individuals should have the freedom to utilize apps and algorithms they have purchased. She maintained that the allegations against RealPage remain unproven, emphasizing the importance of awaiting the outcome of ongoing legal proceedings and investigations.

In response to the Senate’s alterations, Denver Democratic Representatives Javier Mabrey and Steven Woodrow, the bill’s sponsors in the House, rejected the changes, arguing that they undermined the bill’s original intent.

  • For all other nothing enjoyers, I’d heartily recommend Niagara launcher. I can count on one hand how many apps I’ve paid for the premium version, and it’s worth every penny. My home screen is de-cluttered as fuck, and all it takes is a simple swipe up or down the left/right side of the screen to pull up an A-Z app list, where you can find any app you’re looking for in under like 2 seconds tops. No buttons, no typing, no bullshit.

Can keep as many or as little apps on the home screen that you like, although it removes the multi-window option completely, which makes using widgets a little more challenging if you use a lot of them. You can have a “widget stack” you can swipe between on the home screen that only holds 4 widgets max (although you can nest more stacks elsewhere) but since I only need a calendar and notes, that’s more than enough for me.

I absolutely hate how cluttered Android phones have always been. Used Nova for a while to have my frequent apps available in the app drawer where my thumbs could reach them; now I’ll never switch away from Niagara. Has a free version, so try it out and see if you like it!
