I mean depending how its handled and on context, yes of course, but I’m not suggesting we traumatize this person further than whatever has already happened. Like someone else said letting the university is a decent first step.

I’ve been thinking this since it started and saying it for a bit. I don’t understand at all how there were memes of this on the front page all the time and it took this long to do even this. Has there been any attempt at an effort to notify whoever is in the picture that this is happening? I would like to help if possible.

Anyways, Adventure Time is my go to recommendation for comfort content, it’s like hundreds of episodes (plus comics and spin offs) of nearly 100% high quality good feel animation. So funny and with a really positive outlook overall. I’ve compared it to an epic poem told in a modern format before. Similarly I would recommend Steven Universe and The Owl House (oh and Bee & Puppycat) if you like cartoons like that at all. I have others too. Do you like stuff like that or what do you prefer?

Edit 3: i didn’t even claim to be the victim, although I certainly am a victim of capitalism as someone with multiple disabilities that are almost certainly caused by environmental factors present as a result of the unending evil behavior from corporations (including the USG) and many other problems that are inflicted upon me by these systems including artificial scarcity and my rights being whittled down year after year. The victims I was saying you’re blaming are the ~120 million people you explicitly blamed for what is being done to our country and our population and the rest of the world by a few extremely rich and powerful assholes, most of which are almost certainly not responsible for any appreciable fraction of harm being done (relative to what is happening at a massive scale) right before our eyes by those same assholes. By the way, since you’re so upset about what’s happening (according to what you’re saying) what are you doing to counter it? I’m sure it’s more than just spreading your garbage takes on Lemmy right?

Yeah it’s definitely not the system that prevents those people from learning critical thinking skills and encourages them to vote explicitly against their own interests, pitting them against each other as they work themselves to death

Anyways that’s a garbage argument. I’d like to know how you’ve been managing not to find anything opinion based in whatever corner of the internet you’ve come from. If you’re only willing to see things that are anywhere near “the truth” you should be reading an academic publication, not social media.

That’s not what misattributed means especially regarding a quote. It would be misattributed if they said someone else’s name. Anyways how is it wrong (or whatever you meant) to say that what he’s saying about an older version of similar tech is applicable to a newer iteration?
