That shouldn’t need to be said, it should be on the forefront of everyone’s mind living in these times.

That shouldn’t need to be said, it should be on the forefront of everyone’s mind living in these times.

Of course it’s flawed, it’s a terrible dystopia that forces people to live that way or die.

Of course? That’s everyone’s reason.
Do you think everyone wants to be rich so they can work more?

Many religions seem very puritan, so I don’t think they need to know that their god is ‘living’. He can be just kinda boring, a bit of a shut-in I guess. Might even suit them better.

Nobody wants to have a job or want to get paid, they do it because they don’t want to die.

What would the fun be if there was a reason for being?
That’s just a job without pay then

As someone who was laid up for some time on a hospital ward that was considered one of the easiest to work at… Those nurses still looked pretty burned out.
If you can use the shortage to get a cushy position somewhere without night shifts, do it. Otherwise I’d get out if I was you. I wouldn’t want anyone I know working as a nurse as it is today.
Pay and hours need to become way better for that.

I mean if you’re hungary for a semester, go for it!

Think of it like this, 99.9% of the people with those genes did not become alcoholics throughout the history of those human genes existing.
Those that did did not transmit it to further generations through genes either.
So is alcoholism hereditary? No, we cannot say in any meaningful semantic sense of the word that it is.

So those studies don’t prove that alcoholism is hereditary, nor do they prove that it isn’t just nurture. Since they aren’t twin adoption studies they’re generally useless.
If we look at those instead, it does not suggest that alcoholism is hereditary, but that certain genes increase the risk of substance abuse. It’s not that child inherits alcoholism from the parent, but the predisposition for alcoholism is in their genetics. This means that even if a parent is not an alcholic, the child will still be more predispositioned for alcoholism, meaning the hereditary term doesn’t make much sense.
No, the point is that if the complexity of the word “tree” transcends anything you could even remotely attempt to describe in language, how will you find a thought which is the “right one”? You’re always going to be wrong, and it is only people who understand that all attempts at being right will make you wrong, who end up being somewhat useful in doing good.
Agree that voting either is good.
What do you mean by the last part?
I celebrate today, because you know…
Yesterday was misery, tomorrow is anxiety, but today we gotta grift, that’s why they call it unpleasant 🙏
