Nah your boss is just getting you to work beyond what you’re paid to do.

Honestly I liked it initially but it got boring quickly, just generally the same pattern of runs.
I use antenna pod which is able to download as well, which seems to suggest that at some point the ads get fixed. Also they’re very consistent for me, enough that I can usually cut off the first 30 seconds of ads for certain podcasts (there’s a function to skip predefined sections).
Probably too small of an audience but I’m amazed that someone hasn’t released a podcast app that has sponsorblock. Podcast ads are so predictable I’d imagine an ML model would have no issue detecting them.
Mate it’s a trivial problem
Because a huge part about learning is actually figuring out how to extract/summarise information from imperfect sources to solve related problems.
If you use CHATGPT as a crutch because you’re too lazy to read between the lines and infer meaning from text, then you’re not exercising that particular skill.
Israel has impersonated aid/medical workers to assault hospitals multiple times in this conflict. So yea I wouldn’t trust them either.
To chime in on your anonymous comment, racism is a huge issue for AirBnB too. None of my brown friends are able to book one without the help of a white friend/partner, because of their names and the lack of AirBnB history.
Honestly, I didn’t bother with the other three after reading the poor reviews for it, maybe I’ll give them a go.
Edit: Actually, I’ve read the second one, which was definitely better. I just have read that the last two ain’t too great.
The Moon is a Harsh Mistress is my favourite book and would be highly relevant today given its political themes about colonialism, and AI.
I think this is a good contender for the show being better than the book (which was incredibly dry Sci-Fi with almost no character content).
Idk about you but I have a newish chromecast with google tv and it’s laggy af. So it’ll be good to have something with better specs.
Unless you short. Then you can be -200k!
Let’s burn down the Amazon to do it.
Why not just use markdown?
That’s true, but so what? All you can do is vote for a good candidate in your own country that might have a meagre influence on the US.
Watching every minute of the US news cycle is pointless, even if you are a US citizen. Stay informed sure, but otherwise that doomscroll is unhealthy.
Singapore is on the equator, within the intertropical convergence zone which is known for windless weather. Wind farms wouldn’t be as efficient there.
Yea, but this was secret service. They’re supposed to be the best of the best. I guess not.
These are soooo common on old houses in Melbourne. I’ve never met anyone who lives in one, but they’re often closed all year which is insane to me (are these people sitting in the dark in their living rooms??)
Yea, do it to fill your resume with some good points but once you’re not learning anything new it’s time to leave.
