As a former 0352, you need to fire the javelin from the CLU for any of the special javelin sauce to work. There is no “firing” of this missile in the traditional sense once it’s out of its tube. Firing it as intended would probably be the most effective option, however you need line of site to engage with that weapons system. Using a drone to deliver the explosive portion of the missile allows for Ukrainian troops to stay out of direct line of site bc drone, so while less materially effective, prolly way more effective in terms of Ukrainian lives which is what matters most.

Yeah, my introduction to it was a random vaguely interested click some Sunday morning in a comment chain like this, only to have my entire day and evening consumed by the comic. Sure, but the PCB with water block only takes up a single PCIe slot, and is shortened enough to fit in pretty much any case. Is my water cooled 4080S longer than my water cooled RX 480? Yes. Substantially longer? No. Thicker? Also no, basically same thickness.

I know for sure that installing a water block does not void the warranty on reference Nvidia cards. I’ve read that Asus (and evga rip) are the same. Not sure about MSI, and have read that Gigabyte will try to void warranty.

I’ve never had an issue with a non-torch zippo lighter when going through TSA checks. Ive never had an issue with a zippo while going through airport security checks in Japan. I’ve had non-torch zippos confiscated while going through all the following airports: LHR, CDG, FRA, HAM, BCN, MAD.

Most airport security is theater sure, but the most egregious theatrics haven’t been from the TSA in my experience.

So maybe should just get comfortable policy-wise with turning away passengers fucked in passengers at the gate.

A two drink maximum doesn’t stop me from snorting a fistful of ket in the cab, getting 1-2 drinks after security, then going ballistic during the flight. Getting turned away at the gate because I’m obviously kholed does stop me though.
