To be as clear as possible, I am not upset if people think my assessment here that this strategic situation where Ukraine has no interceptors and has to sit and take every antique ballistic missile russia lobs at them isn’t really the unfortunate mistake it is being presented as is wrong…
…what I find alarming is that it has been labelled as being antisemitic as if my interest here was to promote some wild antisemitic conspiracy instead of pointing out direct obvious changes in geopolitical power and what the motivations behind them likely might be…?
My argument is simple here, the system IS what the system Does and yet people keep talking about the system as continually “accidentally” creating a set of conditions that are advantageous for those in power.
No conclusive nor even compelling evidence has been put forward that the Iran War was necessary to launch when Israel and the US launched it, and there is zero room here to argue that it was not forseeable that the US and Israel would deplete their interceptor stocks and their allies stocks if they undertook a war with Iran. All of this was CRYSTAL clear beforehand.
What it achieved was to apply a tourniquet to the hemoraghing artery of artillery pressure on Ukraine’s frontlines that Ukraine had let flow red by chopping off russia’s effective use of ground artillery with adept counter battery work.
Now all that is left is to apply a pair of scissors to the tourniquet and the land war is over for good.
Don’t know why you bring up ‘conservatives’ Japan, the threat comes from somewhere else.
No, it doesn’t, they are one in the same that is precisely my point.
Can you stop hyperfocusing on that? I am not saying Japan shouldn’t take a sober look at defense and focus on rationally deterring Chinese military power with intelligent buildup of military capability, I am saying handing power to conservative ideologies will make Japan radically less safe and more vulnerable to attack no matter how much Japan appears to be strengthing itself in the process, it will end up hastening whatever nightmare the conservatives in charge point to as a rationalization for closing down the vibrancy of society.
Not only are conservatives obsessed with war for the aesthetics of it, for the way it makes them feel, and thus they are uninterested in learning the professional parts of it (a distastrous choice in modern war), conservatives are also as a rule incompetent as hell.
I am not distracting from them, I am pointing out conservative idiots in Japan are turning to the same kinds of idiots who have made China, North Korea and Russia so dangerous.
To put it another way, Japan is doing precisely what “they” want Japan to do, which is embracing a culture of conservative strength that is xenophobic and completely divorced from the exhaustively established reality that everything conservatives obsessed with war do makes the people they are “protecting” far less safe.
Japan is clearly turning to empowering the people in its society that think the same way as the leaders of those antagonistic countries do… which leads me to believe that Japan does not in fact understand the danger coming from every direction including from within…

The good news for Putin is most of the people who have seen how badly it is going on the russian side are already dead!
It is much easier to paint a rosy picture than if those stupid doomed idiots charging the Ukrainian frontlines actually survived and were able to send word back about how futile the war is.
Once you start a war you have no choice about continuing. We are now stuck in this terrible situation.

Trump chose to start this war and he could stop it at any time and he could tell Netanyahu to stop it at any time, he is unwilling to do so because is a coward and cannont back down for any reason because he is too afraid of how his ego will handle it.
A normal person in Trump’s position could absolutely stop a war they started, there is no demand that it continues that is written into the laws of physics or something!

Trump knew exactly what he was doing for Putin by starting a war of choice with Iran and depleting our interceptor stocks.
