    GameCube when you held the Z button on startup?

    (also the 4 controller version, which was much rarer to hear since you know, needed four controllers)

    I wonder what the N64 sounds like.

    Nintendo cheats on the virtual console loading screens. The home consoles before the GameCube don’t have a startup sound, so they use the default coin pickup for the NES, the Super Mario World startup sound for the SNES, and the Mario 64 startup sound for the N64. Maybe they’ll just stick to those identifiers.

    I’d love to get my hands on an og DS keychain.
