Honestly, carefully looking on marketplace, being willing to travel to the bougie end of town got me a high end microwave for cheapish and I’m never ever going back.
Sensor reheat, just heats my damn food. Frozen food setting, hell yeah, all thawed perfectly.
The rich live better and I’m fine enjoying their leavings.
Which model
Panasonic, Genius Prestige.

I want this as a sticker for all my repurposed old tech. This is an excellent quote.
Thanks!

hello, .world! 👋
make sure the plate is spinning freely, and dont put your bowl dead in the center
In addition, when reheating liquidy food, you should try using a lower power level for a longer period of time. This tends to heat it more evenly.
I almost always do double cook time and 50% power.

learn to love the power level
I push one button, and that’s the add 30 seconds button.
beep-beep-beep-beep! beep. beep.
Did somebody say POWER LEVEL?
Sounds like those bowls have some metal content. Plenty of ceramics have a bit of metal in them. Metallic glazes in particular. That’ll heat up in the microwave.
Or it could just be that the outside of the food is heating up the bowl.
I should stop heating up my food in stainless steel bowls from the medieval times then I guess…
Nah, just toss a fork in there too.
Mix halfway through like so instructions say so
My wife has always poked at me for taking longer to use the microwave. But for most think I’m not trying to just melt/outright cook: Time cook + power (1-10). Does wonders
