I love finding these random, old websites since the vast majority are just gone. It’s a bummer that the family members’ individual pages are no longer active, but this just had a time-capsule kind of charm to it.
I miss when websites were fun.
Social media enshittified so much. This gave me flashbacks to the stuff I built when I was teaching myself HTML in high school.
Geocities and angelfire were really fun to peruse and find the weirdest stuff
Homestarrunner just did a 2025 throwback to exactly this.

A nice picture of Patti Smith performing in 2003:

Elise’s early website (under <1999) is vintage web work. Even got on the Discovery Channel! We don’t make websites that cool anymore.

Lolol
Also, I was out on the Mall with them for fireworks.
The Littlers have great taste in music. Iggy Pop, Patti Smith, Buzzcocks, Misfits and more at the 9:30 Club. I could hang with these people.
930 was so awesome. It still is kinda awesome, but it was special back then too (and I know I didn’t get to witness their true heyday in the old building). Once they opened the Anthem though, I feel 930 drifted more indie.
All those old memories are kinda neat.

Didn’t expect to see so many of Donna’s bikini pics.
I dunno, man.
They definitely labeled that folder as a beach vacation.
Cold that day
Early summer on the NC beaches can be a bit brisk with the wind. But they’re the best beaches. :D
I hope they had consent from the children to post that personal information online!
