I’ve seen 4 site on FB (I know I know) all offering the same exact item (a mag safe adjustable phone stand that can clip to things or has a tripod and adjusts). They are literally all the same thing for the same price. I would assume they’re from the same manufacturer. So how can I find out which is the real source, or does it matter and just pick one.
Seems likely that it’s dropshipped. So I would wager there is no real source
Aliexpress, you’ll probably find it for significantly cheaper as well.
When ever Im in one of those knick-knack stores, I like to play a game of “find the jewelry from Aliexpress”. Its usually the stuff claiming to be hand-made :(
Edit: Is this it: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007016568231.html ?
Probably all the same company tracking which variations in how they advertise it get the most clicks.
It’s always the same steps.

@ramble81@lemm.ee I don’t understand how this is profitable. We were shopping for a kitchen light fixture. Found the same light at several stores. Ordered it from one that claimed to be in Italy. Item shipped from China. I understand A/B testing and having multiple storefront you treat live burner phones when you get a reputation/review issue, but these sites were all using the same retargetting to place ads in my socials for weeks after the light was installed. Normally I add users to a list NOT to retarget after conversion. The other stores carrying the same product kept advertising something I had already purchased.
I’d say it doesn’t matter. If it is the same product, chances are they are all reselling from the same manufacturer.
