Marco Rubio wrote that Mohsen Mahdawi, a green-card holder who was detained at a citizenship appointment in Vermont, should be deported because his activism threatens foreign policy goals.

This guy must be an MLK tier orator if giving some speeches, with practically no reporting by the press, is enough to threaten the foreign policy goals of the (arguably) most powerful nation on the planet.

Either he is a great speaker with a powerful message … or it is such a weak kneed nation that it can’t possibly handle even the slightest criticism because it is so fragile and weak

It’s the second namely because the US isnt a nation, it’s a bunch of nations who fucking hate each other pretending to be a single nation. This frankly stupid way of having an imperial identity means that the fucking second it starts to crack on a large scale it will probably fall apart rather quickly.

I mean I think the argument is they’ve always served as a gestapo. It’s ramping up a little more recently but I’m pretty sure even in the 2000s and 2010s they were still infiltrating “radical” environmental groups.
