      To be fair, they weren’t just waiting.

      One of them was also a dad who got a personal call from its kid who was inside and decided to try to go in. They stopped it. Presumably at gun point, because how the fuck else would you do that?

      They didn’t just wait outside the school. They also prevented others from helping!

      Also, I remember one incident where they took credit when someone else did step in.

        And when a mom DID run inside and rescue her daughter, the local police harassed her for months and threatened to charge her with crimes.

        … That is, until there was social media outage about her charges.
