Let’s say my family is massively in debt. All the other members of my family are trying to find work, or going to local food banks, or planning a budget.
Meanwhile, I am using my time to scrounge in thrift stores and rub every lamp I can find to try to find a genie and magically wish everything better.
You may think my actions are useless, and a waste of time, and that I’m childish for believing it will accomplish anything; but I’m “still doing something as opposed to sitting around” and that makes it OK, right?
Trying for impeachment is still doing something as opposed to sitting around waiting for someone else to do the job.
