According to the article it’s when people haven’t updated their medical file that they could be drafted, iirc. Having psychological problems are often used as an excuse by enlisted people.
But if you provide documents and or update your medical files, you draft notice gets revoked.
Yup, it sucks being trapped in it, I know it is only a matter of time before ADHD and autism becomes even more of a punching bag for right wing empty headed leaders. I also know centrists will look at me being crushed to death, shrug and say “It is what it is, if you wanted to survive you would try harder like everyone else.”
When someone is suffering in the US the conditioned kneejerk response here is to think “They must have done something to deserve that suffering, here let me help” and then kick the person who has fallen down for good measure.

Describing Deutsche Welle as left leaning just shows how much US corporate propaganda had shifted the Overton window to the right.

Let’s just say that our political spectrum starts way more the left. And the US spectrum starts way to the right.
