A society so advanced they’re holding productive, 3-minute meetings purely for the social aspect. Long enough to be productive, not so long you want to burn the whole god damned place to the ground.
Or a message via teams/matrix/discord/slack/IRC, with a couple of responses
Scale that meeting up to x20 in our primitive society.
Meanwhile the Star wars Senate takes months to do anything
I hate it when the people in charge blow themselves about how smart and important they think they are.
I sometimes have to help with the back end of things in meetings and I have to keep my mic muted during the video calls because I can’t fucking stand those bastards
