Anvil firing
You get 2 anvils
Pack some gunpowder between them
Light a fuze
Run
The top one shoots off into the air

A close second would have to be those guys in Mexico that put gunpowder on sledge hammer and slam it on an anvil or steel beam causing ridiculous explosions.
That reminds me of a Dave Barry column I read discussing people who would competitively vacuum up gasoline.
