i think that all monopolies should be split up into different smaller companies which would be given to the workers and then collectivized. seriously!

    I still remember when Netflix was that mail order DVD company that was giving RedBox a run for their money. And now they own the production companies.

      I remember when Redbox wanted to buy Netflix’s DvD by mail business, and Netflix said no, we’d rather kill it off.

      I remember when Netflix split their DVD and streaming into separate services and their stock tanked.

      I was thinking of grabbing some stock back then when that happened, but they didn’t make it as easy to buy stock compared to now so I didn’t bother.

      I wish I looked into it further.
