Clarification of what I mean:
It just so happens that I have a job, although not the best one, and it’s not an office job, but it has a good schedule that gives me free time to think and create, although I guess the bottom line is that I’ve also learned how to use my free time for my own purposes without wasting it on unnecessary distractions like TV, Talking about nothing, about unnecessary anxieties, and so on. I recently started doing digital hygiene, switched to Linux a week ago, but I used to be able to chat with Discord people at least once in a while, even if the people there were quite boring, but it somehow helped me get rid of loneliness, but since I no longer trust Discord due to a data breach, I have no idea how to find people online for long-term communication in other places. Do you have any tips?
Let’s also take into account that my hobby is writing a light novel.
And yes, I touched the grass, but I like fresh air more.
There’s Matrix, XMPP, Delta Chat and IRC. IRC is oldschool and popular, you have channels like on Discord but you can only send text. If you want we can message together or create some group chat. I also looking for people to chat outside Discord. My matrix is @ml0dy:noevil.pl, XMPP mlody@hakier.pl and IRC #zimno on Libera Chat.

Matrix chat is pretty popular on the fediverse. I don’t have any specific communities to recommend, but I’m sure there’s a suitable one out there.

Too bad Matrix is just terrible.
There isn’t a decent Discord alternative rn
There’s still IRC. Discord has always just been IRC with additional media embeds and an outer layer of shiny Nerf controls for babies.
Are any of you using Stoat or Root right now?
IRC.
Matrix and irc are where you want to be.
Maybe try SpaceBattles Forums. It’s a bit old school, but there’s a good community and some really good creative writing spaces.
