Animal 15 began to lose coordination, and staff observed that she would shake uncontrollably when she saw lab workers. Her condition deteriorated for months until the staff finally euthanized her. A necropsy report indicates that she had bleeding in her brain and that the Neuralink implants left parts of her cerebral cortex “focally tattered.”

How the hell can you go home and live your life aftet that day at work? Btw, good luck to the cabdidate getting this shit in their head.

I’d imagine they’d have to get people to agree to getting the implant right? Why would anyone do that if it’s such a big health risk? Being paralyzed sounds a lot better then what those monkeys went through…

investors deserve to hear the truth about the safety, “and thus the marketability,”

This tells you all you need to know about the value of life, animal or human animal.

she would often lie at the foot of her cage and spend time holding hands with her roommate.

Animals are more like us than most of us want to admit. Which means, there is a great deal more suffering than most of us will ever comprehend. =-(

That was heartbreaking. I so hope this ends with an implant in Musk’s brain, but I understand the little walnut in there probably isn’t eligible.
