This is happening online but with serious real-world consequences for people who don’t support Israel or genocide.

Canary’s non-public websites promise expansion into new avenues to continue the group’s mission of punishing Americans for pro-Palestine speech via doxxing, pressure campaigns, and now arrests and deportations carried out by allies in the State Department.

BlackNest’s web development content reveals how Canary Mission thinks of its “wins” in its efforts to influence U.S. policy. The website categorizes the group’s impacts into categories: “Change of behavior,” job loss, denials of entry to the U.S., arrests, and “deportation/forced to flee.” The site also collects mentions of Canary Mission in media, mostly from U.S. news outlets, and celebrates mentions of their impact.

In the PDF, the group lists its core values as: Follow daas torah (a concept in Orthodox Judaism about rabbinical authority), integrity, passion for the cause, anonymity, no-ego team player, and rosh gadol (or Hebrew slang for someone “seeing the big picture”).

“Fight those who hate the Jewish people” is the listed purpose, and the group’s niche is “dismantle the anti-Israel network by attacking the messenger, not the message.”

The DHS testified in court that they use Canary Mission to choose targets for deportation, so this is a very serious threat.

And this is how you create more antisemites. These have to be the dumbest organized people that can’t see past their noses. What a bunch of losers.

No no, that’s exactly their plan! They create antisemitism and tell Jews they are in danger and their only safe place is Israel in an effort to increase Jewish immigration to Israel and Palestine for the Zionist settler-colonial project. Like if there is a Jewish guy in the middle of a room and another Jewish guy comes into the room and loads a bunch of crossbows pointed at the first guy, then shouts “You’re in grave danger my brother you must flee!” like mf there was no danger until YOU came in here

They attack the messenger not the message, because their message doesn’t stand to scrutiny.

Fascists, sociopaths, and psychopaths don’t believe in free speech. They can’t be shamed. They don’t care about hypocrisy. They don’t possess morals or ethics. They don’t believe in the meaning of words.

They will claim to be the good guys until the very end.

He just seems like any other liberal american on lemmy(.world in particular). Why would .world want to get rid of a mod they agree with?

Don’t get me wrong, it saddens me to see how you can brainwash people enough to think mass murdering children is a good thing, but I don’t think he is worse than so many others. He does have a special interest in justifying the attack on Gaza, probably because his background. But that just makes him an expert in the eyes of lemmy.world.

I might be an old grump, but I just see american libs doing whatever they do for entertainment.

He was deleting any mention of the Sde Teiman rape camp when the video of one rape came out.

He actively removed any comments sharing any knowledge of the crimes Israel committed came out in the news community.

It’s not the view. It’s the power that he has to enact that view that is the bad thing.

I actually don’t. I just find the hypocrisy to be enraging.

If I was a religious person I would call it close to hubris.

To act so shitty they know their actions will haunt them forever and still think they must know better than everybody else.

And consequently trying to gloss it over and destroy all evidence they did so. It is movie style villainy.

That is probably a good thing.

Thank you for sharing the link.

I’ve never used it, personally. I’ve only recently begun commenting in here. And I mostly react to other people’s posts.

Sometimes that reaction is checking their post history and if what they post sours me up too much I block them.

But I have not been curious enough to check any ones voting record. Yet.

No they don’t. They believe they are superior, supreme. They believe they are better because they are more advanced and have more money, they don’t care about goodness.

I remember encountered an IDF soldier online and attacked both him and his message, openly said he wasn’t convincing, I believe whistleblowers over him, and that I actually hated him.

Cuts both ways. They have included both, but they treat them the same. This allows them to handwave away any reasonable objections that they are not the same thing, because it doesn’t make a difference to them.

That’s what I think too. This is my crazy theory. Zionism was created to finish the job of nazism. To make the world loathe the Israelis (i.e. loathe the jews) and anti semitism will grow to a point that if ever another holocaust happens, no one will stand up for them. I feel bad for the anti-zionist jews who try to scream “not in our name!” but their voices are drained by zionist propaganda.

Nazisim wasn’t existentially anti-jewish. It was just an evil philosophy looking for an enemy to attack, and would have as happily focused on Romani, Apache, or Poles if they were more present in Germany.

Zionism is that same evil philosophy, spreading among Jews instead of Germans.

Ethnic nationalism is just bigotry enshrined into law.

That’s true, but I’m taking the jewish holocaust as a seperate and special sub division of that evil. Zionism attacks anyone who is anti-zionist, be it jewish, christian, muslim, white, brown, black…

The Vatican could just as easily use a similar site for something like this. It’s still disgusting nonetheless, whether it be Occupied Palestine or otherwise. I will give a silver lining here that we’re in the end-stages of the American empire, so all those “Antisemitism” laws are a HUGE sign of that.
