From an outsider I feel americans are.not grasping the threat level because they are already suffering domestically but let me tell you, your representative has practically said he will invade an european country AND is going for south america. The issue with south america is that for years now China has been investing heavily (like, you have no idea how much) in South america and Africa. They are not very bothered by venezuela because it wasn’t “theirs” anyway but as trump goes down things are going to get really ugly. This time internationally
