We need a better work permit system for people who want to work here temporarily.

Nations have a duty to protect their borders, that said give people who have been here for many years, with no criminal record, a way to get expedited citizenship. We need a better work permit system for people who want to work here temporarily.
The nation in question here is based on stolen land, so it’s hardly even “their” borders.
