Federal immigration officers are asserting sweeping power to forcibly enter people’s homes without a judge’s warrant, according to an internal Immigration and Customs Enforcement memo obtained by The Associated Press, marking a sharp reversal of longstanding guidance meant to respect constitutional limits on government searches.

The memo authorizes ICE officers to use force to enter a residence based solely on a more narrow administrative warrant to arrest someone with a final order of removal, a move that advocates say collides with Fourth Amendment protections and upends years of advice given to immigrant communities.

I expect that within a few months you’ll find NICS checks returning “DENY” for anyone who has ties to terrorism. The evidence of terrorism will be membership in things ike the ACLU, being a registered Democrat, having a reading level of 8th-grade or higher, etc.

well - considering the “assassination attempt” on Trump, and how anyone speaking against the regime is a “domestic terrorist,” my money is on the idea that very soon there will be some ICE agents that have an encounter with “ANTIFA thugs,” and this is where martial law will be declared.

Trump is insane right now, and he is big mad that he’s not getting his way in Switzerland; he’s getting bullied right back, and he’s starting to see that people are laughing at him.

If that was the goal it would’ve been false flagged already. The goal really is just a simple as they don’t think their actions will have consequences, and so far they’ve been largely correct.

There already have been false flags. Just ones that sought to incite conflicts between protesters and the boots.

They want blood soaked antifa bodies. It will help to normalize the coming violence to their base. They will frame how it was just. They demonize the slain. It will ratchet it to a new level.

Can you cite any specifics? Because either things are actively spicier than I was aware of or you misunderstood what was being said.

We already know how. It won’t.

Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect.

When ingroups do it, its castle doctrine. When outgroups do it its terrorism. There is no law in the US. Just an uncivilized savage land now.

Surely it will work, right? All those school shootings and accidental murders, they were for this. To stand up to tyranny. Surely Americans won’t just roll over/cheer like they always do. Surely not. Lmao

I just hope they don’t go too hard with the tweets and protests! They’re getting results! And democratic senators writing letters! Oof!

        /s

(I support the protesters, the ICE victims, and NOT ICE, but day after day it just gets worse, and that’s all they’re doing - tweeting and marching - as ICE commit atrocity after atrocity).

I agree. Other vital actions need to take place. However, they are doing vital work. Not everyone can pry secrets out of their digital assets. Not everyone can slip into the homes of their masters while they sleep. No, we very much need people documenting what’s happening. We need people to helping their neighbors when ditched in poor weather by thugs.

The legal side of it would probably be unfairly weighted in ICE’s favor, but I suspect if they tried this in a place like Texas, by the time it got to court, those frozen water nazis would already be shot the hell up.
