It’s been a tumultuous year for the Minneapolis retailer.

For the first time in 24 years, Target has not been named in Fortune Magazine’s World’s Most Admired Companies All-Star list.

The Minneapolis retailer has been ever-present on the list from 2002 onwards, but didn’t make the cut in this year’s All-Star selection.

Target ranked 27th in the 2025 iteration of the list but dropped out of the Top 50 for the 2026 list.

I haven’t been back and am not planning on ever going back. I have a Sams Club membership and I’m not renewing it. Costco will get my money from now own. Life is too short to support these completely evil pricks.

Yep, finally got a Costco membership last year and will not be shopping at Target ever again. Glad to see others doing the same!
