For a while it was “let him cook” which, I think, meant ‘give them a chance, they seem to be on to something’, but now when something goes bad people say it’s “cooked”. My question is, was it a mistake to let them cook? Thank you.

    Let him cook

    that means he is completely wrong and what they are doing will fail, but I am not getting Involved in that mess.

    Typically it is said after one tried to correct the issue.
