I’m in awe how on point Ukraine’s public messaging has been throughout this war. They’ve been perfectly measured and poignant about everything they’ve said.

Zelenskiy in particular has acted and spoken without a single misstep through all the challenges thrown his way. It’s impressive…

The absolute best was the video that came out shortly after with a short cut of basically “thank you”, “thank you”, “thank you”, “thank you”, “thank you”, “thank you” etc.

His internal politics is another matter, but he’s the best leader Ukraine could’ve had when it comes to international perception. The fact that he still manages to placate Trump without losing it is worthy of the highest praise.

I remember, when the full scale invasion started, I basically thought “fuuuuck, and they’re stuck with an actor for a president…”

And then he said “I need ammo, not a ride”, which, at least to me, was probably the most powerful “table flip” moment in history.

Well, i’d say appointing his TV Producer business partner as head of Ukranian intelligence worked out swimmingly…

Apart from the stuff right before the full-scale invasion.

Also he’s probably the only president in the world who called another leader a dumbass on twitter and got cheered lmao
