I miss the homemade kombucha that I used to make in a bucket. The problem with all of these store-bought kombuchas is that they’re always flavored with something. Why doesn’t anybody sell plain kombucha?
I can buy unflavored tea, coffee, beer, yogurt… but not kombucha.
Spouse and I tested us through the kombucha assortment in our preferred super market and found a new drink we can obsess about.

I don’t like the “pure” version. It tastes too much like grape juice which I hate with all I’ve got.
The second option with passion fruit also wasn’t my cup of tea.
BUT the one with ginger and lemon tastes awesome!
Oh man, there is a ginger bug drink in my grocery store that I can’t get enough of if it wasn’t for the price.
