It was so poorly thought through lol. I was arguing with someone about it and they were talking about how much money Alberta is going to save and I was like “In what currency? Because if you leave, d’you think Canada is still going to let you use the Canadian dollar?” and it was like it genuinely hadn’t occurred to them.
And also, Treaty land is federal, not provincial. How was that supposed to work? Never got a good answer on that either.
Where would they go? Make their own country? I have a feeling this is from the biggest idiots in Canada that can’t think past 2 years.
