As said, it all depends on the foundation if you value your data/freedom or not. If not, then fine, everything ia great.

OK, then you, personally, are kinda safe-ish if you never do personal stuff on your work-machine. Fine. But most apple products are in private hands, not a mandated work-tool people can’t escape.
So things working is an illness. If computers are healthy and free things don’t work. Got it.
