What are everyone’s thoughts on the Flanagan reboot?
I found most of it to be excellent, but was really disappointed with the

Addition of a secret society of psychics.
I think it was very well cast, especially Carrie and her mother and that psycho bitch.
I really liked it! Thought Carrie and mom were incredible actresses and the modernisation worked well eg social media tactics.
However
However not a big fan of the secret society. Was also disappointed by the prom it was over fast and i didn’t get the same sense of terror i did from the book
I loved the show, up until the ending.

The way I learned it, shone is the past tense of the intransitive/“emitting light” version of the verb (phrase in this meme). Shined is for when someone shines their shoes. *He shone his shoes
He shined his shoes.
