The House projection is based on an analysis that Democrats will win approximately 255 House seats — an estimate that could still tick up or down by a few seats but will be well beyond the 218 needed to secure a majority.
Yes this is the preferred outcome, but don’t celebrate yet. I won’t even breath a sigh of relief until I see actual progress.
We don’t yet know how deliberately incompetent the Dems will behave. There is a tragic history of captured opposition, and despite have the ability to impeach Trump for all his crimes, they could just do what they always do and try to accomodate the Republican party ostensibly under “non-partisanship”.
