Maybe there's a better way to phrase this chronological arrangement.Arizona does not comply with daylight savings time. As Bobby Hill complained, being in Arizona is " like standing on the Sun." The time does not spring forward or fall back because the last thing you want in Arizona is another hour of daylight. The Navajo Nation, however, which comprises most of the northeastern portion of the state, can make its own chronological decisions. It does comply with daylight savings time. The Hopi Nation is an ...

Not pictured is the cluster of buildings that is the Navajo Embassy to the Hopi Nation. I’ve been told that that “block” and the surrounding road observe DLS.

So if going from Phoenix to the Four Corners, there is a route where you’d theoretically need to change your clock 6 times before leaving the state.

For comparison, the deepest recursive of this phenomenon for islands and lakes is a 4th order island

Theyre not super descriptive on the exact location and I can’t quite match it up with an exact land feature on mapping app.

        Is it Big Hips Island?

And if your phone syncs with your car, your car’s time will flip back and forth a lot.

If they have a home planet that rotates and also has a tiled axis, they probably have their own time weirdness. If entities are on different sides of the planet from each other and want to use “small numbers” for time everywhere, they’ll probably be doing something similar.

As sensible as it would be to use a single clock for a planet, it isn’t really person compatible. It’s why the US still uses Fahrenheit for temperatures. Celsius is more sensible, but for a person 0=cold and 100=injury and death is too wide. Fahrenheit’s 0=cold and 100=uncomfortable is appealing.

That probably explains why so many people and countries have adopted Fahrenheit 😜

Probably not because they would have seen our tilted axis on the way in.
