I just noticed that there are quite a few users on Reddit from r/WorldNews who are defending Israel unequivocally and when I checked some of the users they seemed to be engaging on topics only about Israel/Palestine and they seem to be extremely active, so I have checked the Internet and there are even some older BBC article and Reddit posts discussing exactly this issue: https://www.bbc.com/news/blogs-news-from-elsewhere-23695896

Bro what are you talking about, Reddit has always been pretty much leftist and even more so with popular subs like politics or world news.

Leftism is not counterculture/ anti system as much as people here like to think. Face it. It is mainstream and THE system.

I want some insight into your mind and how you think leftism is mainstream. First, can you define leftism in a way that matches the dictionary, and then can you explain how it isn’t counterculture

OK sure if you’ve decided to define leftism as “the system” then sure, obviously. Weird decision but I’m not one to judge.

In the context of the US, even ‘progressive’ democrats are center-right at best. Much of the trouble in America is a symptom of this problem.
