Rudy once publicly humiliated an EMS Lieutenant who was trying to send a child to the hospital. Rudy played it off in the media and acted like he was a hero, when in fact he’d risked the boy’s life by forcing the ambulance to divert from the nearest hospital.

He got AIDS and his good friend Ronald Reagan did not want anything to do with him. He was the original Log Cabin Republican and he died penniless and alone.
