This actually is a Venn diagram, which already puts it above so many similar things used both on-line and off-line. It’s not just an Euler diagram masquerading as a Venn diagram.
This doesn’t seem to be even close to a venn diagram to me. Most obviously, having the same element (“HO”) 3 times in different places is incompatible with venn diagrams as it violates fundamental assumptions of set theory. If I’m not mistaken, in this case an euler diagram would also look the same as a venn diagram (if we change the labels to correctly be “yo ho”, “yo ho ho” and “ho ho ho” rather than the individual words arranged for comedic effect)
It’s still an amusing image though and I really don’t see why it matters.
I don’t think that’s how venn diagrams are supposed to work.
Then it’s a different kind of diagram isn’t it? John Venn shouldn’t have exclusive rights to overlapping circles.
Can you point out where the problem is?
There’s nothing in the Gangster Rapper/Santa overlap, for one.

Nobody said this was a venn diagram.
They posted an image of a common venn diagram and didn’t say otherwise, so it should be assumed that it is one unless the creator stated otherwise.
That’s not an image of a venn diagram. I thought you knew that.
