I enjoy NSFW when seeking it out, but I don’t like being bombarded with every NSFW post in the lemmyverse at all times.

In the settings I only see all on or all off.

In the old sync I remember there being an option to hide NSFW on the main pages, but to show them when you go to a specific sub, I’d like that again.

I’d like the ability to hide NSFW on a schedule like during work hours.

Yeah I think it would be nice to hide NSFW specific subs, but allow an NSFW post from a non NSFW sub.

Right now I’m just hiding porn subs as I see them 50+ and still going

Aren’t 99% of the NSFW subs on like 2 instances? You can just block them and be done with it

Can you block a specific instance client side? Last time I went looking in settings I only saw options to block specific communities

Lemmy v .19 added server side instance blocking a few weeks ago, but the ability has been around on sync since pretty much the start

The problem right now (I think) is the “Hide NSFW Posts” is a lemmy setting, and the blurs are Sync settings.

So the hide NSFW post prevents the API from returning any post marked NSFW

It doesn’t only apply on the Everything feed like OP is asking.
