As someone with autism I definitely have favorite and least favorite touches
Favorites:
- cat fur
- silk
- porcelain
- smooth metal
Least favorites:
- chalk
- unglazed pottery
- concrete
- paper (only in the morning)
- slightly damp skin
- those shirts that are really tight and stretchy
newly washed ceramics can eat a bag of dicks, touching them is like poking a nerve with a needle
I genuinely have a visceral reaction. My hand involuntarily reaches mach 2 while moving away from any raw pottery I have accidentally brushed up against

I like touching my upper lip and nose, don’t know why. It makes kinda a duck face which is dumb, but that lip feel on my bottom nose is pretty great 😌
