Questions before hand doesn’t mean it’s scripted. It just means the “approved” questions are presented, more or less.
And again, this is entirely normal. You don’t go into an interview without having preparation, and that’s not a “script”.
No one- and I mean no one- important enough to be interviewed is going to not give a list of questions they want to answer; and questions they don’t want brought up.
(For example, Jon Stewart’s interviews. The interviewees go on there knowing they’re gonna get asked hard questions, that they’re prepared to answer, and then they get on with reconditioning their image.)
If you already know what questions you’re answering, then it is scripted. Lots of people don’t script their lives so they get a gold star whenever they take a test by paying off the instructor in advance, especially if they’re going to brag afterwards to say that it shows that they are still smart and mentally strong.
Timewarp seems to be a pro fascist posing as a worried left wing who points out technicalities and uses weasel wording to try to get people to not vote, ignore them
Providing the questions beforehand means you already have an answer planned. That is called a scripted response. It means you have “acceptable” questions and “acceptable” answers already planned. If your answers are unscripted, then you have no reason to provide the questions in advance. That is reality. People can live in a imagination-land where Joe Biden is winning in polls and is likely to beat Trump at this point. That is fine. I just prefer to stick with reality.

Holy shit, politicians prepare answers for questions political campaigns feed interviewers? This has literally never, ever happened before in the entire history of politics and media.

That’s patently untrue.
A script details everything line by line. Being “scripted” means everything is written and planned.
Have a selection of questions is not the same as having a script.
Words have meaning, and I think you know that.

given their reply… I’m thinking you’re right (and they don’t actually know that words have meaning.)

It just means talking points, nothing prevents the interviewer to ask follow up questions.

Except for every other election.
