On Thursday, Donald Trump walked into a room of journalists gathered at his Mar-a-Lago estate for a news conference. He didn’t look particularly happy.
His remarks came after a week in which Kamala Harris and her new running mate Tim Walz have dominated media attention, raked in millions of dollars and enjoyed a bump in polling. Trump’s media event seemed more an attempt to win back the spotlight than announce anything new.
Heads up…the convicted felon is going to up the crazy to get back in the spotlight.
I mean not only does he have to compete with Harris and Walz, he has to compete against his own running mate. The press doesn’t care about a Harris/Trump debate because they know how it is going to go and it will be as dry as the Sahara, but a Walz/Vance debate? With Walz’s comedic timing vs Vance’s complete lack of awareness? That’s gonna bring in the ratings. At this point Trump is a distant 4th for ratings for them.
