That’s a “mutation favorable for human transmission” observed in a case without a clear animal source. Those are two very different things. Good lord, scared me for no reason.

This is directly contradictory to the current CDC statements on the matter, updated today December 18:

That isn’t observed human to human transmission. That’s a “mutation favorable for human transmission” observed in a case without a clear animal source. Those are two very different things. Good lord, scared me for no reason.
