    There are actually very good arguments for the US and Canada to merge from a socioeconomic perspective.

    I assume you’re not Canadian then?

    Because one of the greatest national assets of Canada is not being part of the United States. And 82% of Canadians feel that way.

      If it was an EU setup, Canada would still be separate. Germany and France are still separate countries despite being in the EU.

      I think a similar North American trade union would not be the worst of ideas, but not with Trump in charge of the U.S. part.
