Double checked my sources; “raging magat” may be a mischaracterization and I retract that. But they are willingly going along with it, no pressure from the label and are trying to say their songs were never gay in any way. He also admits he’s made a few more million dollars from YMCA since it’s become a conservative talking piece and used in rallies.
I’m sure it’s a cash grab. But it’s interesting how he is trying to walk the line in the mainstream media.
