Congress has so far done nothing, so they’re basically fine with it. And the constitutional authority is decided by the courts, the same ones that ruled that anything a President does is de facto légal.

Is there a chance this can be half spun… IE lets say he doesn’t have any actual ability to do more then send out e-mails and walk up to people and say “You are fired”.
In the same way that I can walk into walmart and tell every employee they are fired. Which if I can make myself sound important they may leave… I don’t have the authority to fire them, but who’s going to stop me. First ammendment says we can yell “you are fired” in a crowded theater.
