Wrong. Molotov cocktail.

well, Amazon is going to get flooded with garbage and scams sooner rather than later.
Where have you been the last decade?
It’s expensive and probably not available in a majority of the country, but Michael’s of Brooklyn is a straight banger. I found it while I was living in Brooklyn and when I moved away I was sad I wouldn’t be able to buy it anymore, but a few months back my local store started stocking it lol.
I think whoever thought of this concept should die
I mean, cyberpunk had issues at launch but at its core it was an excellently written game in a vibrant world with phenomenal NPC performances and fun combat. It was worth spending the time and effort to fix up.
Redfall has none of that, from everything I’ve seen. Sometimes you need to release and move on.
Yeah I’ll echo what everyone else is saying, the visuals and art direction are stellar, some of the best original sci-fi art in the last decade, rivaling Dune and Avatar - the story is as generic of an action movie as you can get. It’s a fun movie tho, I enjoyed my watch, but it’s not a “run out and see” kinda movie unless you’re a VFX nerd like me.
We should simply speak of nothing, ever then.
You can probably count the avid Facebook users who also use Lemmy on one hand.
I agree with your point but imo Johnny Silverhand is Keanu’s best work.
Good! Companies who let shitty people run it and let those people make shitty decisions should die. It’s time for there to be some actual risk involved in being C-suite.
Well you got here by waiting 3 years to play a game that was perfectly fine about a month post-launch.
As someone who played on launch, with less than “best” specs - it was fine. I had the odd T-posing NPC or texture flicker, but I had decent frames almost everywhere and had a blast with a great game.
This guy looks like a cartoon network character

they all pander for their button clickers with similar carnival barker catchphrases to gather their little micro-boosts to raise their Tuber Rank.
People do what helps them make a living. I don’t like it any more than you do, but you seem to be attributing way too much baggage to something that’s no different to a street vendor hawking their wares at passerby. Times change, but people’s motivation stays the same.
I mean most people in adult spaces aren’t really discussing YouTube and who they subscribe to lol. But it’s a useful feature to tell the algorithm “hey, show me when this channel uploads a new video please”
I think you’re really over thinking it in regards to the ‘culture’ most well-adjusted adults don’t think about the people they subscribe to on YouTube as anything other than cool creators whose work they want to follow.
Literally night city
So many damn Linux memes and supremacy posting.
On a more real note though, a bunch of the smaller communities I was part of on reddit, and nearly every specific gaming sub I was in aren’t here, or at least aren’t anywhere near as active.
EA BFII released before TLJ (Nov 17, 2017 vs Dec 15, 2017). And the controversy for BFII happened before it’s release, more than a month before anybody had the chance to see TLJ. On top of that, because of the extreme amounts of negative press, all paid loot boxes were removed from BFII within like a week of its release, and all future content would be entirely free. So while sometimes review bombing may be people clamoring about ‘wokeness’ or just ineffective, BFII is not the example to use as it’s probably the singular hardest pivot in game direction in modern AAA due to player outcry.
Not sure why the author makes a big deal about the game being single player.
Because the majority of capital in the games industry is currently being thrown behind MP-primary/only Games As A Service experiences, and aside from a select few Sony studios, most AAA development is moving away from Single-player
High tech, low life. Star wars is dystopian
