Imagine letting yourself get hooked on a drug you’ll need for the rest of your life and the side effect of withdrawal that you’re not able to think or do tasks anymore without it.
This is how rich people feel without their butlers. And crackheads without their crack.

I was so focussed on the misspelling of “losing” that I missed the chatGBT.
Nah, it’s not missspelled; they’re worried about releasing “chatgbt” into the wild.
Ahh, it makes sense now.
Wake me when we get ChatCBT.

Storytime: I was helping a colleague with a tech issue and did a screen share with them.
I see they have grammarly installed on their comp. I think - ok, I get how that can be helpful. You know, that vs which and making sure you use e.g. or i.e. correctly.
Then, I proceed to watch them type. They type out a sentence and get 3 words horribly wrong. Not complicated ones. Words like ‘responsibility’.
Now I realize that’s their work process. They just don’t know how to spell. They type things vaguely correctly, wait for the lil red line to show up, and then right click to the right spelling.AI is cancer.
I mean I don’t think autocorrect is AI, I’m pretty sure Grammarly’s AI stuff is mostly around like tone and rewriting for you.
It’s got almost the exact same technology behind it, just on a smaller scale.
