And the chips are one hundred percent on board with it. Wait until Vegas cops learn who really pays their bloated ass salaries and lawsuits.

How much of the 40 fucking billion ICE dollars is going to end up civil lawsuits?

I’d like it to be plenty, but we all know it’s mostly going to private equity firms that own prisons, food, and nazi guard corporations.

I used to visit Vegas pretty frequently and if you played your cards right (pun intended) you could make a fairly inexpensive vacation out of it. Nothing super exciting. I finished reading a lot of books lounging by pools at various hotels, eating and drinking a bit more than I normally would. Avoiding the tourist traps and just relaxing.

Nowadays the casinos don’t want to comp anything and the prices they charge are outrageous. Last time my wife and I went, which was a few years ago, I went to the pool bar and ordered two drinks. Nothing fancy. When the cashier told me the bill was $60, I was blown away. $30 a piece. A complete rip off. It’s gotten to where a lot of places pull that kind of shit anymore.

There are way better and cheaper places to visit than that glittering desert shithole.

I used to go there for business trips and I remember being floored that the hotel Starbucks was charging $11 for a small latte

Thats interesting, most chain restaurants in Germany have the same prices in all locations. Not 100% sure if an airport burger kind would have the same prices as everywhere else, but it wouldn’t be much more.

There were only two major groups I saw in Vegas last year. Elderly middle class people who still have wealth to not pass on (doesn’t seem like near as many of them these days) and the Upper Class where $300 candles are just a thing you throw on your kid’s nightstand.

Yep the guy who bankrupted multiple casinos is running the country now. The economy is gonna crash hard. You’ll be wishing for the 2008 financial crisis.

    It’s always the same answer.

Why aren’t people having kids any more?

Why aren’t people going to bars anymore?

Why don’t people want to work anymore?

Because 8 lazy lucky fuckers own 50% of everything that we’ve built.

        Hell yes.

Every year, we should take the richest person in the country and redistribute half their assets.

Also, if you use unrealized assets as collateral for a loan, you should be taxed on the value of those assets.

I enjoy Vegas to some extent, but it isn’t worth the cost now. I can go on an international trip or to a classier city that isn’t in an ever heating desert.

Gambling and shows are fun for a few days, but if I’m dropping thousands, I want to have real experiences, not some amusement park nonsense.

You can have a real experience without dropping thousands by playing Russian roulette.

      Don’t, though!

Americans can’t afford Vegas, and foreigners who could won’t go until Trump and his GeStaPo is history.

Was in Vegas in June to see weird Al concert. Believe the stories about $20 bottled water. Apparently Vegas decided it wanted to be like Monte Carlo and cater to the ultra rich. There is no reason for anyone who doesn’t have oodles of fuck you money to go to Vegas anymore. It’s just not affordable which makes it not fun for normies.

Yea, no one asks “Why doesn’t anyone visit Vegas anymore”.

    1. Suckers will always go to Vegas

    2. We don’t care who does/doesn’t go to Vegas

    3. If Vegas disappeared tomorrow, we’d cheer

Gambling is also widespread enough now if that’s why you were going to Vegas, you don’t have to anymore. Even in NC we have a pretty sizable casino in Cherokee. And the shows in Vegas seem to really just be the same shit you could see in other big cities, or at least something equivalent.

Yeah, the Vegas shows are generally residencies where a performer goes after they aren’t popular anymore. I think one of the ‘big headline’ shows is still Carrot Top… for whatever reason…

Canadians have left Vegas in droves. Cancelled flights and hotels all over the place.

No support for fascist dictators and their corporate overlords.
