Not a brit, but I know the traditional “Full English” breakfast: Everything is fried. Even the tomatoes Oops, the tomatoes are grilled. The toast, however, is often fried, and not only on Christmas!

      Honestly

I’m obviously biased as a Brit, but anyone who can look me in the eye after having the experience of a full English (or Scottish/Irish, a proper full Welsh is definitely a subject of understandably niche interest) breakfast and a good Sunday roast, and say we have shit food here is frankly a bit of a philistine.

And there’s more to the chippy than fish and chips

Edit: on re-read, I’m realising you might not be fully on board, have a proper one and you’ll understand. Also, I’ll have you know, we don’t fry our beans, and fried toast is a Christmas luxury
