Imagine I give you several opaque cups and you can’t see the color. If you can successfully identify them all by taste alone, you don’t win anything, just have an old dude telling you he’s pretty impressed.

Never tried it in my life. Pretty sure you can get it here in the UK, but most of those style drinks (monster etc) look so artificial that my own innate cowardice keeps me away.

That said, I barely drink soda since the sugar tax, as all the soft drinks now have sweeteners that I taste as bitter - even my national drink (Irn-Bru) has been ruined.

So, with that in mind I’d probably be keen to try US Gatorade, as I’m guessing it’s loaded with sugary goodness

I think of that milky white one as stamina, ala Diablo 2… frost cherry i think its called.

Game UI convention seems to have settled on green for stamina. Skyrim, Zelda, Dark Souls, Tunic etc. There’s a YT video examining why mana is blue and the same reasons apply here I think. It’s basic color theory. Red was already taken as the obvious choice for HP since it’s the color of blood. Blue contrasts with red and green stands out from the other two.

As for Gatorade, the white one gives you frost damage reduction. Same with orange for fire and yellow for lightning.

There was a flavor of Powerade back in the 90s called jagged ice that was really dark blue. I loved it and wish it were still around. Maybe it gives you underwater breathing.

I’d be confident in the traditional 3 most common, fruit punch red, lemon-lime yellow, and orange.

I’ve never tasted gatorade, so it’d definitely be a wild stab in the dark. Be intresting to test though!

Nope. I’ve only drunk two Gatorades, both blue. The first one convinced me I prefer coke, the second one was when I had gastric flu, hadn’t eaten in three days and badly needed to replace some electrolites. I was a rosebush at that point, if my memory is reliable.

I can identify Cool Blue. Despite being blue, it tastes like orange juice. Never heard a good reason why their orange flavour is blue. The actual orange one tastes like orange as well but it’s different.

The white one. I drank a lot of that ages ago, and I have some specific sounds, smells, and other senses associated with it. I’m sure if I tasted it, a lot of specific memories would immediately trigger.
