My sister has just bought the world’s most complicated food processor. To see it has like 500 different modes. It hasn’t moved for making ice slushies, who wants that?
It has an app so you can control it from your phone. Who has ever needed to be able to remotely control their food processor, in what scenario would that be useful. I really don’t understand the modern world. At least video doorbell sort of have a point.
In my case it was a sous vide stick at least. I do want to see how the progress is and get an alert.

The US. It’s not my home though, it’s her garage. Rent prices are so absolutely fucking atrocious that a single person can’t even afford to rent a house let alone own one, you need 2 incomes for 1 life… So I rent a garage “apartment.”

Since last Friday, our boiler has been only starting intermittently. Temperature in the house on most days dropped down below 59° F.
We got the bad ignition control replaced this morning. Now we can go back to the normal state of being just a bit too cool to be comfortable.
