minus-squarejaybone@lemmy.ziplinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·5 hours agoI’m still using: A btguard VPN. Transmission for the torrent client. 1337x.to to search. I’m sure that’s not the latest, hippest setup, but it works for me. Is that still an ok flow? Should I change anything? I’m old and set in my ways.
minus-squaremushroommunk@lemmy.todaylinkfedilinkarrow-up1·4 hours agoHonestly still fine. There’s some niche things you won’t find on 1337x but it’s rare.
minus-squareAngryCommieKender@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up1·5 hours agoTorrents still work, though I definitely need to update my tracker list.

minus-squaremushroommunk@lemmy.todaylinkfedilinkarrow-up1·4 hours agoIf you miss DC++, nicotine (part of Soulseek network) is still great, it’s got some quirky and weird users you can avoid pretty easily but the files are good
